Shipping Policy

(For shipment Outside South Carolina)

We prefer our new puppy owners to come and pick up their new puppy in person, and occasionally we hand deliver puppies when possible. However, when that is not an option, we choose to ship via air with Delta PetFirst.

The cost for shipping includes:

Health certificate ($75),
Travel crate ($25),
Airline charges (I'll call Delta and get an exact price; Will be around $195).

So the bottom line is, shipping via Delta is approximately an additional $295. Exact pricing will be given before arrangements are finalized.

We can only accept partial deposits from local puppy buyers. We will need the full purchase amount including shipping when delivering via Delta.

We require a cashier's check when shipping out of state. The best thing to do is send it overnight or by priority mail (2-3 days) so the process of shipment can begin. We also accept PayPal payments when you add 3% of the cost to cover the transaction fee. Once payment is received, we immediately begin the ball rolling and inform you of all moves regarding shipment. When you let us  know that payment has been mailed, the puppy is taken off of the "available" list permanently.

The first step is the veterinarian exam to obtain a health certificate. The airline requires that the health certificate be no more than 10 days old from the flight date. The next step would be to schedule a flight. With Delta, you can schedule a flight one day in advance or up to one week in advance. Of course, all of this would be communicated to you as events progress.
